Disrupt your approach to Purpose.
Have yal noticed that these blogs have been coming out Tuesday instead of Monday (smh)? Yeah me neither (Ha!)
But today, I’m super excited to talk about purpose—not the social media version, not the five-year-plan version, but the real-life, everyday version that’s messy, meaningful, and sometimes just… missing.
I think many of us are confused about purpose because of how we’ve been taught to pursue it.
We’ve been told purpose has to look polished.
That it needs a huge platform, a title, a salary, or a spotlight. But, when our reality doesn’t match that image—we start shrinking, doubting, or waiting (Lord, send your help today).
truth IS: Your purpose may not need claritY BUt Your approach may need a disruption.
Signs that it’s time to Disrupt Your Approach to Purpose?
You’ve been sitting on an idea for months (or years) waiting to feel “ready.”
You’re doing something good, but you don’t feel connected to it anymore.
You’re afraid to start small, so you do nothing.
You know what God said—but you keep asking for confirmation.
You keep saying you’re stuck, but deep down, you’re scared.
I’ve experienced all of these—and honestly, I’m currently dealing with a few. The enemy will uses these to condemn you, but don’t give in. Let God help you shift how you pursue what He’s already placed inside you.
The world’s approach to purpose often sounds like this: “It has to be big to matter.” But the truth is—99% of the time, purpose starts small. God grows what’s surrendered, not what’s shiny.
We’re told, “You need more time, money, or support to begin.” But really, what you need is faith, obedience, and the courage to take the first step.
Maybe you’ve believed the lie: “You missed your moment.” But honey, if you’re still here, God is still moving.
Oh here’s one more: “You have to wait for permission.” But if God already said yes— it’s time to walk in it.
Purpose Disruption Looks Like…
Starting the thing—even if it’s quiet.
Saying yes to what’s in your hands right now.
Releasing the identity you’ve outgrown.
Trusting that God and consistency beats “perfect timing.”
Doing the work without applause.
Realizing you don’t have to monetize everything God called you to steward.
So, What Can you do Right Now?
Answer these 3 questions and go from there…..
What have you been putting off because you feel unqualified?
Where are you overthinking instead of obeying?
What small, brave step can you take this week that honors what God put in you?
Don’t wait to feel ready. Start ready or not—and grow as you go.
Scripture to Memorize
“Faith without works is dead.” – James 2:17
“Do not despise these small beginnings…” – Zechariah 4:10
“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31
Change your perspective and approach. Purpose isn’t a destination—it’s a direction.
When you stop chasing what looks impressive and start moving in what feels aligned…that’s obedience. That’s freedom.
That my friend is disruption.
See you on the vlog later this week!
Much Love,
Natalie
